Muddy Buddy

Due the slow and steady entrance of Spring, the snow has finally been melting.  What this means for fishing is high and stained water.  Too high and dirty means no fishing, but nice and stained means really good fishing, especially with big streamers.  This was the case.  I have had some excellent fishing days, mainly last week using large streamers.  Big, tungsten eyed, rabbit stripped, flashy streamers were money when drifted in or  pulled through a run or bend.  I was able to hook up with the largest fish that I have caught here in the Driftless using this technique.  Here is to dirty water again.
